It Grows

So far, the beta stages of this website shows amazing potential. A steady stream of information is coming in, about events that are taking place within our county. And there is also growing interest from folks, who want to particpate at a higher level, by becoming active contributors on this website.

But most are unsure of where or how, or have not yet taking that step, and putting themselves in the spotlight of everyone who is or will be reading this website.

A simple leap of faith is all that it takes, that and a little dash of enthusiasm for making a difference, and taking part in something bigger then yourself. Most folks that I have talked to, are a bit apprehensive about becoming contributors, for they do not think that they have the talent, or the skills to add something that people might want to read.

The fact is, it does not take someone with a degree in journalism, nor does it take someone with advanced computer skills. All it takes is drive. I will gladly provide training material and instruction. And if need be, computer access, here in the mylocalpcpro shop that you can utilize to add your posts.

The momentum is spreading, and word of mouth in such a small area such as ours, greatly adds potential exposure to issues within our county. Did you folks know that there is a Sea Scouts unit forming up on Tappan Lake? There will be information published here soon, regarding that fact.

This is such a great medium to use, to get the word out, but your help is needed. This is for you, Harrison County!
