LOve this Lil Brother….way to bring tears to my eyes as well!!! IT was a great time…this festival was something to look forward too year after year , growing up…Many GOOD GOOD FAMILY MEMORIES….what brought our family together as a WHOLE!! Cadiz isnt the same without it….I miss stage 5 down by the 4-H building…that seems to be our main place of entertainment as the Bertolino Family Polka Band gave it their all!! Dont forget that your sister was 3rd to the last of the IMMF Coal Queens 95-96!!! WHoo Hoo…!!! Love ya and thanks for posting this…such a good write up, and thanks for including your sisters in it too!

both of your uncles also played drums when g-ma needed a break.I can still see your Uncle David playing “Proud Mary” your Dad singing and playing guitar and your G-pa & G-ma Durbin dancing. Wow…..

larry, this is so cool. wow such wonderful memories of the IMMF. listening to the recordings you posted almost makes one feel like they are back on the streets of cadiz walking down thru the festival. was the one event we waited for ALL year. it was THE event. so many good memories. wish we could return to those times.

Those were great memories for sure. You know it, Harrison County isn’t anything like it was so many years ago.
