Scio American Legion Commander’s Dinner

The Scio American Legion Post 482 Commander is hosting a dinner for all Scio Legion Members on Saturday, January 16th at 5:00PM. The dinner is free to all members and includes ham, green beans, red potatoes, coleslaw and a dinner roll. Stay afterwards and listen to Gus Lambros and Electric Mud from 9:00PM to 12:00PM. Admission for this function is $5 per person.

Dave Rose, of Scio, is the County Veterans Service Officer. He retired in 2008 as a Department of Army civilian from Fort Meade, Maryland with forty years of Federal service (military and civilian). He is a member of the Scio American Legion, Scio Ruritans, Harrison County Historical Society, Harrison County Military Support Group, and the Custer Memorial Association. His hobbies include collecting military insignia and reading Civil War history.
