I do appologize for making this seem like an obituary. Louise Frontz is alive and quite well. The point and feeling I was trying to get at, was the loss of a familiar business on Main Street in Cadiz, Ohio.
Just Things & Hallmark, owned and operated by Louise and Bill Frontz, has closed its doors for the last time in Cadiz, Ohio. Another sad victim of the economy that has trickled down nationally, to the local level.
Louise Frontz was a standard figure on South Main Street in Cadiz for many years, who enjoyed socializing with her customers and collecting unique and interesting items to display in her storefront.
Her store will be sorely missed, as she was a welcome part of my day. Every time I came into my office with my children, she would make an appearance shortly afterwards, with suckers in hand for my kids. A friendly, kind woman, with a local charm that radiated from her shop, is no more. ( The shop, not the woman! ) edit: 24 Jan 10
Louise told me that she will still be selling AVON and finding other avenues to pursue.
Thank you for being a great neighbor Lou!
…..
Also, Brewers Florist has also closed its doors in Cadiz, and has re-located back to Jewett according to the sign on their door, of their former location on Market Street.
The empty infastructure in our Country increases.

Sis.. sorry you had to close the doors after so long. You have made an impact on Cadiz.. and now you are moving on to bigger and better things.. or maybe not.
Maybe you will be able to just relax and do what ever you want to… no more puncing a time clock.
Have fun.. do what you want.. you deserve it.
Love ya, Shirley
Aunt Louise, I love you.

I was always hoping to someday come and see your store. Sounds like it will really be missed. Good luck!
