Going Green Tip #17

Another tip to help you go ‘green’.

When I was younger, I used to love to go out and look at Christmas ornaments.  I usually could pick out one or two so I could take home and put on the tree.  Now, that I’m older, I still enjoy doing that, but I also want to try creating my own ornaments and garland for the tree this year.

Some ideas that I want to try out is using popcorn and stringing it to use as garland and possibly use some other items, like somethings that I can find in nature (pine cones and other items like that).

I’m sure there are other ways to create garland and ornaments that are ‘green’ friendly and will be simple to make.  Along with being energy and cost efficient.  Just use some creativity and you never know what you may come up with.
