Going Green Tip #18

Another tip to help you go ‘green’.

Christmas morning and all throughout the day is usually a really happy, joyous time of the year, but it can also be really messy.  But, instead of throwing away all of the paper, plastic, and other items that are usually found when  it comes time to clean up, why not make it as hassle free as possible?

Before unwrapping gifts or even starting festivities, set up different bins and label each one of the bins differently (one labeled paper, one labeled plastic, one labeled cans, etc.) and have people that are at your home put different items in the correct bin instead of throwing them away.   It will make it easier to distinguish between what is recyclable and what isn’t when it’s time to clean up.
