Going Green Tip #21

Another tip to help you go ‘green’.

Did you know that there are a lot of uses for coffee grounds?  They can be used as a fertalizer, as a way to keep ants from certain plants, a stain remover, an odor absorber (after the grounds have been dried thoroughly) and more.  Coffee grounds can also be used to get odors off of your  hands such as fish and onion.

Items don’t have to be expensive to be able to be used as cleaning ingredients or other household products.  I’m sure there are more ways to use simple, everyday items around your home that won’t be harmful to you, your family, or the enviroment.
