Going Green Tip #26

Another tip to help you go ‘green’.

Brushing our teeth, pretty routine, right?  But have you ever thought of what you can do with that tooth brush after it gets worn out instead of throwing it away?  Just in case you didn’t realize it, there are a bunch of ways to reuse them!  All you have to do is disenfect the toothbrush first.

Here are a few ideas on how to reuse your toothbrush (after it’s been disenfected):

~ Use it to scrub in between tiles.  The head of the toothbrush is small enough to fit into the tiny spaces and the bristles are rough enough to scrub off the unwanted dirt.

~ Use it to clean combs.

~ Use it to clean cheese graters

~ Use it to apply hair dye

~ Use them to scrub dirt off of hard skinned fruit and vegetables

~ Use it as a paint brush for kids

~ Cleaning mud from shoes

Those are just a couple of ways to reuse a toothbrush.  Toothbrushes are very handy to have around the home and make some cleaning jobs a little easier.
