A Note From Larry:
A Very Special Thank You to Dee Ann Horstman, technically my 5th Grade Jewett – Scio Teacher, but in reality a lifelong mentor, and a friend, who provided the Schedule of Events for the 2011 Scio Fall Festival. Dee Ann Horstman is also the Curator of the Scio Museum, and I encourage everyone to visit before, during and after the Scio Fall Festival takes place!

DeeAnn has been one busy lady her entire life. With everything she does she still has time for her friends and family.
I live in Reynoldsburg,Ohio and she still finds a few minutes to keep me informed as to what is happening in Scio and the surrounding area. I appreciate this information as I still consider Scio to be my hometown.
Thank you DeeAnn for all you do and for your ability to handle everything so well.

I have enjoyed this festival for many years. Everyone in the community works very hard to bring it all together. I think of it as a “Homecoming”, because it seems that we all gather to see friends and family that we can’t always see. Many people make an effort to time their visits during this time, and some travel a great distance.
