Deadline extended for spay\neuter program

Due to demand, Hounds’ Haven, Inc. has extended the deadline for
registration for “Feline Fix-It,” a spay/ neuter clinic for cats.
Those who would like an appointment for their pet now have until
September 5th to sign up.  Hounds’ Haven hosts the Rascal Unit
for the “Feline Fix-It” clinic. The “Rascal Unit” is a mobile veterinary
facility that provides low-cost spay/neuter procedures and other medical services.
The clinic is set for September 17th and

18th at Friendship Park, and is open to pet owners in Jefferson, Harrison and
Belmont counties.  You can pre-register by picking up an application at the
Hounds’ Haven shelter, Belmont County Animal Shelter, Landmark stores in
Bloomingdale, Cadiz or Dillonvale, any Belmont County Senior Center, Belmont
County Job and Family Services or download an application at  You also must pre-pay by money order or cash. 

Appointments will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis.
