John Boyer, Sr. Benefit

Print This Story Print This Story

The family of Terry Boyer, Sr. is having a Chicken Dinner Benefit on Saturday October 15 from 3-7pm at the Hopedale American Legion.

After a lenghty illness, Terry passed away on September 17, 2011.  Terry was a kind and caring man that knew no strangers.  Everyone was a friend in his eyes.  All proceeds of the day  will go to Pauline Boyer, Terry’s wife of 36 years, to help defray medical and funeral expenses.

Your dinner will consist of chicken, baked potato, macaroni salad and a roll.  Carry out will be available, too.  The cost of the dinner is the gift of donation.  A bake sale will also be there with a very wide array of choices for dessert.

A Chinese Auction, Silent Auction, and 50/50 will be going on throughout the day.  Some of the items that you can bid on will be many gift certificates including (2) $50 certificates to MyLocalPCPro, an Amish made Hope Chest, a dog care basket, a doghouse that looks like a church, Tastefully Simple items, Scentsy items, a crossbow, a Steelers jersey, HUGE fall mums and many, many more things.

Anyone wishing to help by donating baked goods, auction items, or even a monetary donation can contact John Boyer at (740) 946-1013 or Donna Fulton at (740) 942-2433.
