Apple Dumplings

This recipe was shared by Marcy Townsend. Quick and easy way to have a hot apple dumpling on the table in no time.


  • 1 Package Crescent Rolls
  • 4 t. Sugar
  • 3 t. Cinnamon (divided)
  • 2 Tart Apples (peeled and sliced)
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 2 t. Butter

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Separate crescent rolls into 8 pieces; flatten and stretch each piece.
  3. Mix sugar and 2 t. cinnamon.
  4. Roll apple slices in mixture, divide evenly among the flatten rolls.
  5. Fold dough over apple mixture and pinch to close openings.
  6. Place in baking dish.
  7. Mix water and remaining 1 t. cinnamon.
  8. Pour over dumplings.
  9. Dot each dumpling with butter.
  10. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes.
