Monthly Diabetes Workshop: Diabetic Retinopathy: What you Should Know

On Thursday, May 3rd 2012 the Harrison Community Hospital is hosting their monthly Diabetes Workshop.

May is Healthy Vision Month. Nearly 45% of Americans diagnosed with Diabetes have some stage of diabetic eye disease, which can lead to impaired vision, including blindness.

Led by Gary B. Pearch, O.D, the discussion will focus on Diabetic Retinopathy and how you can reduce your risk of developing this complication.

Workshop Begings At: 6:30 PM in the Hospital Cafeteria.
