Enjoy the great outdoors in Harrison County Ohio this summer and take part in an
upcoming Hike(s) scheduled for SATURDAY, June 16 at 9:00 a.m. Rain or Shine.

Everyone is to meet at the end of Brushy Fork Rd. (County Rd. 1), Clendening Lake Backwaters. Something for everyone!

Birdwatchers of all skill levels are invited to join Dr. Scott Pendleton for an on road Bird Hike in the Elk Run area (Brushy Fork side). Binoculars aren’t necessary but it you have them bring them for a closer look. If you are just interested in putting in some miles, Ray Ferrell will be leading a hike on the Buckeye Trail (Brushy Fork) or if you have a canoe or kayak, launch it at the end of Brushy Fork Creek and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of Clendening Lake. Wear appropriate clothing (long pants, boots, jacket etc.) for your adventure. Bring plenty of water and a walking stick, bug spray may be advisable.
