General Custer’s 172nd Birthday Party
Continuing the Custer Memorial Association’s observance of General Custer’s birthday and the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, “The Rise of George Armstrong Custer, 1861-1865” will be the program for the Custer Birthday celebration on Saturday, December 3. The evening will start with the dinner meal served at 5:30pm at the New Rumley Methodist Church. We will be having Professor Gregory J.W. Urwin, history professor at Temple University as our guest speaker in the Custer Museum and Center.

Harrison County Veterans Day Observance
On Friday, November 11th at 11:00am, the Harrison County Veterans Service Commission will host the county’s Veteran’s Day observance at the Courthouse. The observance will include participation of all the veterans’ service organizations of the county, the Harrison Central High School Band and a guest speaker.
H.C.M.S.G Afghan Raffle Tickets On Sale
Martha Manbeck has once again donated a 4 x 7 handmade afghan to the Harrison County Military Support Group to be raffled off to help fund the Christmas Packages sent to our troops overseas.
